The Institute partnered with scientists at Baylor College of Medicine, National School of Tropical Medicine and the Sabin Vaccine Institute and Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development on the development of vaccines for Chagas Disease, as well as to conduct epidemiological studies on the prevalence of the disease and its vectors.
